Mission Statement

“To prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.”

The American Diabetes Association is the nation’s leading voluntary health organization on diabetes. ADA funds research, publishes scientific findings, provides information and services to people with diabetes, their families, health care professionals and the public. The Association is also actively involved in advocating for scientific research as well as advocacy for the rights of all people, adults and children, withdiabetes.

Each year in the Atlanta metro area thousands of people participate in American Diabetes Association’s community programs and activities to increase awareness of diabetes and raise needed funds.
